Veterinarian

Dr. David graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2013 and became a partner at Animal Care Clinic in February 2017. His love of animals initially drew him to the field of veterinary medicine and he started working at an animal hospital at the age of 13. His professional interests include all aspects of small animal medicine, with a strong interest in surgery and dentistry. 

Dr. David shares his home with his wife (also a veterinarian) and his pets including one very large, energetic Akita named Nala and two cats; a lap cat named Trouble and a food-motivated cat named Loki. Dr. David loves trying new restaurants and coffee shops. He is also an avid sports fan, rooting particularly for the Bears and the Fighting Illini.

Favorite pizza topping? Ham and pineapple.

What was your first car? My first car was a navy blue 1999 Volvo S70. 

What’s your hidden talent? I am a phenomenal power walker and I have a pretty good memory.
